MyPad Move Paves The Way For Continued Growth
Fast-growing specialist affordable housing developers, MyPad, have secured the lease of nearly 5,000 sq ft of Grade A office space at The Quadrant in Beeston in a deal finalised by commercial property consultants OMEETO.
MyPad have taken the whole of the second floor at the town centre business premises and the move paves the way for future growth.
The Nottingham company specialises in the delivery of affordable housing in partnership with registered housing providers and local authorities across the East Midlands.
Led by three directors – Tom Spink, John Turner and Dave Holland who all have many years’ experience in residential and commercial development – MyPad was launched in 2019 and has seen extensive growth in the past 12 months in terms of both staff and turnover.
The 25-strong team is set to increase to more than 35 in the next 12 months and the company forecasts that this year’s 50 new home completions will rise to 200 in 2023.
Co-owner and director Tom Spink explained: “The demand for good quality affordable housing continues to grow and we provide our clients with land and works packages delivered by our in-house team as well as a wide range of local construction contractors.
“With our roots firmly embedded in the East Midlands, we were keen to move to premises that could cater for our rapid growth and The Quadrant was the perfect fit.
“Beeston town centre is easily accessible and the offices are within close reach to local amenities which are two important elements to meet our goals to grow the business by employing local people from a wide range of local communities.”
OMEETO, with joint agents HEB, are marketing the further 14,000 sq ft currently available at The Quadrant.
OMEETO director Chris Wright said: “The remaining ground and first floor offices are available serviced and can accommodate requirements of between one and 150 desks. The location and high quality fit out make The Quadrant a very attractive proposition for businesses looking to relocate.
“We were delighted to work with the team at MyPad on behalf of our clients and I am sure that these premises will be the ideal fit for this hugely successful and growing company for many years to come.”
