Business Award Recognises Local Company’s Lofty Ambitions
A Long Eaton company has been recognised as a leading light in the loft storage industry by a panel of business judges.
More Than Loft Ladders is based in Meadow Lane and covers the Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield areas as part of a national franchise network.
The company has been named Loft Specialists of the Year in the Corporate Livewire Central England Prestige Awards 2021 which recognises small and medium-sized businesses that have proven to be the best in their market over the past 12 months.
All shortlisted companies were asked to show evidence of the quality of their work and positive feedback from their clients.
Business owner Liam Hobbs was presented with the award by Osmaan Mahmood, CEO of the Prestige Awards, who commended the company on their high levels of customer service and feedback as well as success in introducing Covid-safe procedures.
Mr Hobbs, who set up the company in 2013 and heads up a eight-strong team, said: “The past year has been a mixed blessing for us. Having initially been unable to work during the first lockdown, we have since certainly made up for lost time.
“The whole team have been working flat out to meet the surge in demand of householders keen to open up their lofts either as an extra room or for additional storage space.
“As the name suggests – we are more than a loft ladder company. Although this is obviously an important feature, we also install hatches, part or full loft boarding insultation, lighting and smoke alarms to transform dark and forgotten lofts into usable space.
“It is a huge honour to be recognised with this award and it marks the start of an exciting year of substantial growth plans for the company.”
