County Show Gold
Floristry students at Derby College’s Broomfield Hall have clinched a coveted gold medal again at the Derbyshire County Show for their interpretation of an enchanted wood.
Seventeen students were involved in the planning and creation of the entry into the floristry competition and tutors were delighted with the success.
Head of Faculty Eileen Swan said: “The students did a fantastic job using a wide range of flora and fauna to create their entry and we are delighted that they have clinched the top award again this year.
“We have lost count of how many gold medals the floristry department has won over the years but this must be a ten year stretch of winning by now.”
Interviews are currently taking place for full and part time students looking to learn all levels of floristry skills at Broomfield Hall from this September. For more information, contact 0800 028 0289
